Government has decided to give Rs 3500 as ad hoc bonus to government employees drawing salary upto Rs 16050 (Last year it was Rs 3200). Those who are getting a salary of over Rs 16050 will get special festival allowance of Rs 2200 (which was Rs 2000 last year). The regular employees will get Rs 10,000 as Onam advance. Part time and contingent employees will get Rs 2000 as festival allowance.
